Pretty Pink Chick!

By | February 24, 2016

Happy Wednesday, as promised here is the another of the cards we made this past Sunday with my Sunday Stampers group. It will have a cute card for any occasion.

Today’s card features the Sale-A-Bration stamp set “Honeycomb Happiness” and coloring on Shimmery White with Aqua Painters. Shimmery White card stock is cool in that it can hold water, so it’s great for water coloring if you don’t have water color paper handy.  The chick was colored with Melon Mambo and a little Crushed Curry on the beak. The base of the card is Bermuda Bay cut to 4 ¼” x 11″ and folded in half for a top folding card. There is a piece of paper from the Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack adhered to the bottom. Next is a mat of Basic Gray, with the Shimmery White piece adhered with liquid glue once the image is dry. Ribbon is adhere on the backside with glue dots, then the entire piece is backed with dimensioanls and adhered to the card. Bow is attached with a glue dot and liquid glue adheres the sequins.  For a little added bling, you could replace the ribbon for a string of the Bermuda Bay sequin trim.
