It’s Saturday and the sun is out!  It’s amazing how seeing the sun can make you feel just that much better!  I received my Costco rebate check this week so I’ll be off to Costco soon for some shopping, mostly stocking up on items we need –  TP, paper towels and ketchup – three important items in this house! What are some of the must haves in your home?

Todays card is for the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch challenge, you can see the sketch below.

This card will feature one of the new Sale-A-Bration items announced March 1st, the Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack. Any one of the four products can be yours for free with a $50 (before tax/shipping) purchase.

March SAB.1_n

To start my card, I cut a piece of the vellum the size of the front of the card (4 ¼” x 5 ½”) and on the backside of the vellum I colored the leaves with the Mossy Meadow Stampin Write Marker and let it dry for a few minutes. Next I cut a piece of the Irresistibly Yours Specialty paper and colored with Mossy Meadow ink on a sponge, wiping off the excess.  I adhered the Irresistibly Yours paper to the Vellum then Vellum to the Mossy Meadow card base, just on the left side.  There is a piece of gold ribbon covering the seam.  A piece of Painted Bloom Designer Paper matted on Blackberry Bliss helped me decide on accent colors for the card (Crushed Curry & Melon Mambo) and is attached with dimensionals. Where the circles are in the upper right corner, I first adhered the Vellum to the card base and used the circles to cover the glue dots. Used the ½” and ¾” Circle Punches.  Sentiment is from the “Something to Say” stamp set.  For more information on any of these products you can click on the image below.

Such a pretty card Karen! I love your choices of colour and DSP”s – so elegant! And the gold ribbon is a lovely touch too. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Craft Crew this week 🙂
