Happy Monday, hard to believe three weeks from today is Christmas, how close are you to being ready? I still have ways to go!
Today’s card is for the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch challenge. The banner below is the design for the card. While the image has flowers, my first thought was snowflakes, then decided to use one of the stamp sets on the retiring list – Beachy Little Christmas – which features two things I love the beach & Christmas! To make my card I started with a card base of Smoky Slate and mat of Bermuda Bay card stock. For my images I first stamped the tree and shells on a piece of Whisper White card stock using Memento Black ink giving them a few minutes to make sure good and dry before using my Stampin’ Blends to color the images, I even went over the tree branches with Old Olive and added Clear Wink of Stella to the shells and some of the ornaments on the tree. Next, using my Paper Snips roughly cut out the tree and shells. Using the tree for placement, decided were to stamp the house and once dry colored with Stampin’ Blends. I also stamped and extra house on a Post It Note, cut out and used to mask over the house as I stamped “bubbles” from the Playful Backgrounds Stamp set in stamped off Smoky Slate ink. The tree and banner was added using a mix of regular & mini size Stampin’ Dimensionals. To finish off the card I added a few Pearl embellishments for holiday bling.
