Happy Valentine’s Day! Hope it’s warm where you are, here it’s -4 degrees this morning, only one in this house that likes this weather is our husky Bandit! Here he is walking around the yard enjoying the cold and snow 🙂
Today’s card features one of my favorite colors, Blackberry Bliss and the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits Die. To get started on the card I used the Bloomin’ Heart die and the Blackberry Bliss cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot using the Magnetic Platform and the new Precision Base Plate. Next, I ran the Big Shot Die Brush over the back of the die to loosen and pop out all the little pieces from the cutout, this brush sure makes it a lot easier! The card base is Thick Whisper White, with a piece of Whisper White that had been run through the Big Shot using the Decorative Dots Embossing folder. Next layer is a 1″ banner of Silver Glimmer paper, followed by the heart and finished with “I♥U”, from the retired Thinlits Label Card, in Silver Fold paper.
