Gentle Peace

Happy Friday, welcome to the weekend!  Not sure about where you live but here it’s cold and there are snowflakes in the air. Luckily no snow is sticking around, just hitting the ground and melting!  We have a husky and he is loving this weather, doesn’t want to even come in the house most of the time.

Earlier this week I received the new photopolymer stamp set “Gentle Peace” and have spent my evenings trying different ideas with the stamp set.  One of my favorite is posted below.  I just love heat embossing the image with Black embossing powder and coloring with Blendabilities.  The embossing helps give the look of stained glass and who doesn’t like coloring?  Coloring with the Blendabilities is great, no streaks, just make sure to put the caps on good so they do not dry out.  Once I had the image colored, I cut it out with Paper Snips, backed it with dimensionals and adhered to the card.  The sentiment at the bottom is also heat embossing.  I always enjoy have a religious stamp set for the holiday.
