FMS202 – Spooky . . .

By | September 7, 2015

Happy Monday, hope you are enjoying the long weekend! I’ve been doing a little crafting, swimming, spending time with friends and using my new pressure cooker. So far I’ve made a Peach Cobbler (had the left overs over ice cream) and Bar-b-q ribs, with homemade sauce. I’ve starting understand how to use the pressure cooker. Looking forward to making a variety of dinners in it!

Today’s card is for the Freshly Made Sketches weekly challenge which was created by Amy.

FMS202

For my card I decided on a piece of paper from the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper Pack and Black Glimmer Paper to get my idea started. What’s really nice with the new catalog is that packs of card stock can be purchased to coordinate with each designer series pack/stack, this way you have the exact colors you need!  I’m using Tangelo Twist for the card base and basic black at the mat for the ghostly images. There is a piece of Black Glimmer cut for a banner, with the hexagon punch used to create the ends. “Spooky” is from the Seasonal Frame Thinlits Dies in Very Vanilla and attached using glue from the new Fine-Tip Glue Pen. So that I had a bow like the sketch, I used a piece of vintage Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon.

Freshly made large

Inside the card is an image and sentiment from the Happy Scenes Photopolymer Stamp set , which can be purchased separate or as part of a bundle.
