FMS182

By | April 16, 2015

Each morning when I wake up I like to have a cup of coffee and check out some blogs before I start my day, it’s nice to see what some other demo’s are doing.  This morning I came across the sketch for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge and just knew I needed to participate. My card is one of those that just “popped” into my head the minute I saw the sketch. I have a few balloons floating around on my desk, which is probably why.  Here is the sketch.

FMS Final 182-001

My card starts with a piece of Birthday Bash Specialty Designer Series Paper, highlighted on the left with a piece of Bermuda Bay punched with the Scallop Edge Border Punch and adhered to a card base of Whisper White. The balloon, backed by dimensionals, is in Calypso Coral and heat embossed in Crushed Curry with a stamp from the Celebrate Today Photopolymer Stamp set. A piece of Gold Sequin trim acts as the string. The word ‘Celebrate’ is from the same stamp set and heat embossed in White. It was a rather easy card to put together, yet striking!  The stamp set and balloon framelits can be purchased as a bundle for a reduced price, or purchased separately, which ever you prefer.
