Happy Monday, hope you were able to enjoy a long weekend. I’ve been on vacation from my day time job since Wednesday and go back to work on Tuesday, it’s been nice doing some Christmas shopping and enjoying down time watching Hallmark movies!
Today’s card is for the Paper Craft Crew Sketch PCC315 challenge. I’m featuring the First Frost Bundle (First Frost Stamp Set & coordinating Frosted Bouquet Framelit Dies) along with Frost White Shimmer Paint for stamping.
My card starts with a Thick Whisper White card stock base that has been stamped on the lower left with Mint Macaron ink and on the right with Crumb Cake ink – some full strength and others 2nd generation for a lighter image. Next using Frost White Shimmer paint and a Sponge Dauber, ink was added to a stamp and stamped all over for a slight shimmer to the paper, There are also die cuts added in both corners. Focal Whisper White in the center was also stamped with Frost White Shimmer paint. Sprigs are in Mint Macaron card stock and a thin piece of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper adds a nice divide to the front. For the flowers the smaller flower has two dies which makes it easier when you need two or more of the same flower. Adhesive Backed Sequins are the finishing touch of bling!
When using Shimmer Paint for stamping, remember to clean the stamp immediately once you are done to avoid the paint drying on your stamp.
